- Studio Time – “1000 Words” offers studio use including professional lighting, backdrops, a soothing atmosphere and a professional photographer to shoot anything the client wants. Examples would be family portraits, baby pictures, senior pictures (in studio), and modeling headshots.  Props will be available for most of these uses.

- Product Photography – Also offered are: Advertising photos, product brochure photos (food or other products offered by your company), South Dakota/Black Hills tourism photos, and “services” still photos (photos of the services provided by your company) for marketing use. Standard rate for studio time would apply to product photography.

- On-Location Photography – This is what most clients will hire us to do.  
We can be contracted out to provide photographic services for any type of function or event.  Examples would be: Small weddings on a budget, corporate parties, family reunions, sporting events, and on-location senior pictures. Charge would be based on degree of difficulty of assignment and location. Costs would vary from an individual or family shoot for a short time, to a bigger event such as a wedding for an extended period of time.

- Aerial Photography – We are now able to provide general purpose, high resolution, professional photos of your personal property/real estate, ranch, farm, development property, business, or anything you want (and are allowed) to have an aerial photograph of.  Prices are more reasonable than one would probably imagine.  These make great family gifts, retirement gifts, postcard photos, etc...

- Photo Retouching – With the use of a high quality image scanner and the best graphics software available, we offer the service to turn old, scratched, torn or possibly incomplete photographs into a new, regenerated, and refurbished digital photo file. Pricing on this service will be on a per print/original condition basis.

- Image Digitizing – The art or skill of digitizing is used for the embroidery industry. It is the process of turning any artwork and select photographs into a specific type of electronic image file that can be read by an automatic embroidery machine.  If you have an image, logo or other artwork that you would like embroidered, this is your first stop to making that a reality.
